Our Work in Brazil

Collaborating with local partners on efforts to expand and enrich educational opportunities for communities.

Brazil

In Brazil, the coconut sector generally has stronger infrastructure compared to other coconut-growing regions. However, some communities face other barriers including limited access to education, fewer pathways to skilled employment, and broader deforestation in other sectors across the country, which constrains economic mobility and sustainable growth.

We work with local partners to support education and reforestation initiatives to help build long-term community resilience. In some regions, we help to expand access to STEM education, provide scholarships that build technical skills, and train communities on positive environmental practices. We have also worked with partners to advance reforestation and biodiversity projects in other regions to promote climate resilience across the country, Vita Coco’s very first coconut sourcing region. Learn more about our impact through some recent projects from Brazil below.
